Clatter in your House

I always watch the american show on style network and think, Are they nuts?. How do you live with such merse in your house and dont try to clean up your house. you wait until its too much and then call CLEAN HOUSE to come and rescue. Come on! But guese what, today it was doing the CLEAN HOUSE myself. What? if you look in the photo below, you will think im joking, frankly Im not, this is it. inside my house. Packed neatly, you wont even notice it, even if you were to spend a month in my house.
This is a NO NO NO! Also an advise from me- dont rely on your House help, they can only help you pack it neatly not to discard it. If you were to ask me why i have this junk with me, i will tell you the trueth- I DONT KNOW, maybe in that timethat particulor piece of paper meant somthing to me and i thought let me keep if, it might give me some ideas in a long run, but this is too long a run. If its not happening soon, then you might aswell throw it, Its JUNK!
If you are also a victim of clatter, please here it from me. its not FAB.

Drop the Pretence

Posted by Picasa

Incase you cant read:
One of the most painful types of conflict is also
the easiest conflict to avoid.
It is the conflict you have with yourself.

When the person inside is in conflict with the person you are
on the outside, it drains your energy and damages your credibility.
Yet in an instant, you can be rid of that conflict.

All you have to do is be completely honest about who you are.
Drop the pretense, and you rid yourself of a heavy burden.

Stop pretending to be someone you're not.
For even if you could manage to be convincing at it,
you would gain nothing of real value.

That real value lives in the authentic person you are.
In your sincere and deeply felt passions you will find life's
most delightful and fulfilling treasures.

There's no need to live in conflict with yourself for even
one moment longer. Let the true you shine through, and
fulfill the wonderful possibilities that are uniquely yours.

Magazine photo Shoot

Did I tell you , I have never been on a Photo shoot myself. I shoot all the time and I have been promising myself I will go with my family for one, but time hasn't allowed me. with my baby fat, I have been trying to figure out what am i going to wear. like all girls, I am conscious about the look, figure, hair, name it. i have called the girl who does my hair to come over and help me fix my braids. With my busy life , i was with my girls friends, doing shopping AGAIN, some where where we began, did i say brogan? YES! We have discovered a place where we can shop to next to a dollar per item. So the day passed and this girl has been calling me ti check if Im home yet, so that she can come to help me out.
This was a very very short notice, seriously if i were to complain, but because i love publicity, i didn't say no. I guess this MAG likes me, because even when i was in South Africa i use to appear on it often. i remember one of my girls from home where i grew up , started buying TRUE LOVE, because she use to see me in it.
Tomorrow Im being interviewed about having christmas in KENYA. I have been in these country for almost 3 years and I have been here all of the christmas seasons. Now i need to tell the whole world how its been. Well, we will here about tomorrow, if you wanted a scoop about it.
Thank God I managed to find a dress that i will wear, on my burgeon shopping. now Im dealing with my face which is not looking so good, then polish my nails. There was no time to go for a pedicure and manicure. I need to do a magic here, GOSH! That's part of being a Housewife hey!
I have seen people using an egg york, lets see if it will also do wonders on my face. First i want to steam it for a few minutes and then try the magic.
Will update you tomorrow!

Fab mum

At this time of the night, This is just the right time for me to blog. My ten year old girl and my 9 months old boy are all sleeping, its quite in the hues and the whole compound. my mind has settled. no more Mom this mom that, Nh nh nh! this from the baby, following him up and down , checking what he is picking up to put in his little mouth. My eye is already complaining from tiredness.
Just the other day when i was going for lunch with my Housewife friends, I passed by a book shop to get A home owner's magazine and I came across a book written How to become a FAB mum for a fabulous family. i thought this is what i need. Knowing myself , that i am not a reading person, but for this book I will read. it might help me, in this kind of job that i do (Housewife).
if you not in it, you will definitely envy me. When I get broke I also wish i was working, so we are the same because when you get worked out, you think you wish you were me. To tell you the truth all jobs comes in different shapes and sizes.
Now I remember that i can work better at night, Before I conceived my boy, I use to sit till midnight or pass, Blogging and updating my Facebook Fan Page. It really worked.
Hopefully this book will give me back my life. and help me balance and still be Fabulous, back on my Stilettos with a nice figure.

Mingling with Royalty

When you are young you wonder , you dream, ask questions, lots of questions. REED DANCE and all that, how it happens and who does it and why? but this is not about that its about how i ended up mingling with the Royal Family.
A friend of mine, Dungy use to live with one of the Queens when she was young and she introduced me to The Queen (La Ngangaza). And told her I design clothes and vie been featured on TRUE LOVE Magezine. Oh wow! she was impressed. We first met at her mom's place and she gave me her own fabric and drew a sketch for me to sew. The feeling deep inside me was indescribable. It was the Batik kind of material which she bought on one of the trips with the KING.
I did several outfits for her and her girls-

REGRETS- I had no camera on those days to capture the designs and her wearing them, but I still have the hope will meet again and she will wear some for me to take photos oh just an Autograph.

Then I met a lady called Gabi who also introduced me to another Queen ( La Ntenteza). For the same reason that i design clothes and we first met on her visit to Johannesburg at her brother in-law's house in Sandton Prince ------- she also went through my file and puked a few designs and I made outfits for her. One of them she wore on her first trip with the KING to China if I'm not mistaken, coz I remember my friend calling me to tell me that she saw her wearing my design.Though I was still a young and upcoming designer, I was grateful they wore my staff and loved it. Thank God for that opportunity! We became close those years till we lost contact. She also invited me for her 21st Birthday. and hooked me up with an invitation to the KING'S BIRTHDAY. If I was a socialite I would have been popular by now, Right? This was my second attendance to the KING'S Birthday.

The third one was Queen La Nkhambule, who I was introduced by Kulile my cousin. She will cook and invite us for a meal and Kulile will do likewise. She is also cool, she lets me take photos of her and her kids. And i still owe her a Family Photo shoot, since I am now a Photographer.

The Fab Queen

I have been an addict for E! Entertainment TV for a while, especially when I first came to Nairobi. I had no friends to hang around with, since im a housewife, and besides, I knew no one around exept for my husband. So TV became my best friend including FACEBOOK. Thank God, I have finally can live without the two.

So the term Fab,I first herd it from Kimora Lee Simon from her reality show- LIFE IN THE FAB LANE. For a minute I thought, “ that could be me” Jokes ( dreaming, I tell you). The way she run things, Being a mother of two, running her BABY PHAT company. Balancing all that- I can do it, Why not? Towshat’s being a a Housewife, sometimes you imagine things.
I must admit, I love it (which one?) “The FAB life”
